Originally named Contrology by its founder Joseph Pilates, Pilates is an early precursor to functional movement training. He developed his system based on six principles: breathing. center. concentration, control, flow, and precision. Pilates is designed to help practitioners to gain strength, increase core and joint stability, improve neuromuscular control, improve joint flexibility, and generally improve physiological health.

Body Kinetics has teamed up with Illuminate Pilates to offer you a variety of premium class and private lesson offerings. We keep our class size small so that each client gets the proper attention to form and detail they deserve. For those reasons, we ask you to please contact us about available times for private lesson and class offerings. Classes fill up quickly; however, we are working diligently to add more classes to service you. ​
